About Us
Black Phantom was founded by Daniel Sims, a cybersecurity specialist who serves globally as a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and virtual CISO (vCISO), helping organizations define and lead effective security strategies. He began his career at Scotland’s Cyber and Fraud Centre, focusing on web application testing, and later joined Adarma, the country’s leading managed security services provider.
In 2020, Daniel helped launch the UK hub of Orange Cyberdefense, part of Orange S.A. He led the UK CSOC migration as its first Security Analyst, supporting clients in Finance, Aerospace, and Energy as a Technical Delivery Manager, Senior Cybersecurity Analyst, and Automation Ambassador.
